Megan McNamara, former Team Canada Beach Volleyball player, noticed a significant gap in the skincare industry in Vancouver especially—a need for personalized, science-backed skincare advice. After battling hormonal acne for over a decade and seeing firsthand how challenging it was to find trustworthy solutions, she decided to take action.
While still competing on the international stage, Megan began her training in Medical Aesthetics. She was committed to becoming as knowledgeable as possible, furthering her education with the Pastiche Advanced Skin Analysis Course, an industry-leading program for skin professionals. Pastiche offers an in-depth knowledge of skin biology/physiology, advanced skin analysis, and personalized treatment strategies, equipping practitioners with the expertise to address complex skin conditions and deliver tailored skin solutions.
Megan possesses a deep understanding that extends beyond just skincare. With firsthand experience in treating her body as an elite athlete, she applies this holistic approach to skincare, recognizing how factors like stress levels, blood sugar imbalances, and nutrition profoundly affect the health and appearance of the skin.
Megan founded Face Club earlier this year with her sister Nicole, driven by a commitment to provide holistic, individualized, and reliable skincare solutions. “I’m incredibly proud of the community we’ve built and the difference we’re making in people’s lives,” she shares.
“My goal for Face Club is to become a relaxing, trustworthy space where anyone can find the personalized care I was searching for during my own skin struggles. I want everyone we reach to feel confident and empowered in their own skin” she adds.
