There's just something about AVST. Time and time again we keep coming back to it, for ourselves and for our clients. It doesn't take long before we start hearing 'my skin feels brighter' or 'my skin looks healthier than it has in ages'. We often refer to this as the Environ Glow.
The Science Behind AVST
Environ's AVST Moisturizer was created with science at the forefront. Dr Des Fernandes, world renowned plastic surgeon, says "aging skin is a direct result of sun-induced vitamin A deficiency. Correct the deficiency and you'll have more radiant looking skin".
This is why Vitamin A is the cornerstone ingredient in the Environ's skin care philosophy. The changes you can see in your skin when using a vitamin A is incredible - from improving skin texture, reducing breakouts, brightening and more.
Sounds Too Good to Be True - So What's the Catch?
A roadblock when it comes to Vitamin A is that certain forms and formulations are really difficult for the skin to tolerate. We have many clients come to us saying that they tried retinol but it didn't work for them so they had to stop. This is most common with strong retinols and prescription retinoid acid (tretinoin).
What makes AVST so incredible is that it uses retinyl palmitate - a less irritating retinoid derivative that does everything from reducing acne-causing oil production to smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles. It encourages cell turnover and normalizes skin cell function resulting in smoother, clearer skin. This form is photoprotective, meaning it can also be used morning and night (incredible right?!)
Why Are There 5 Levels?
Environ AVST comes in Levels 1-5, gradually increasing in strength and potency of vitamins. This allows your skin to acclimate comfortably without the common side effects of retinoids (think flaking, burning and itchiness). Once you work your way up to Level 5, you're feeding your skin daily with a high amount of vitamin A, C, antioxidants and peptides - all of the necessary ingredients for healthy, youthful skin.
