To micro-exfoliate, apply the masque on top of your pre-cleansing oil and massage in circular motions for 3-5 minutes. Remove with your preferred cleanser. To use as a hydrating masque, apply a thick layer over the face. Leave on for 10-20 minutes then remove with your preferred cleanser. Follow the rest of your routine.
Lactic Acid (AHA)
A multi-functional alpha-hydroxy-acid (AHA) that loosens the bonds between keratinocyte cells, creating a gentle exfoliating effect on the skin. This form of AHA also increases hydration in the stratum corneum and has a mild tyrosinase inhibiting ability, making it suitable for compromised and hyper-pigmented skin.
Ammonium Lactate (AHA)
An alpha-hydroxy acid that acts as a humectant, improving the moisture level and hydration of the skin.
Urea
A humectant and keratolytic agent that improves cellular turnover as well as moisturizes the skin. It's moisturizing and healing properties make it a great choice for sensitized, problematic skin conditions.
